What happened to the Minute Package
The details above describe the Warid Minute Package as it was sold. It was a base tariff, not a daily bundle. Calls were charged per minute at the same rate to Warid, other networks and PTCL, with a cheaper rate for two Friends and Family numbers. That simplicity is why a lot of people stayed on it for years.
The Warid branded base package is no longer sold as a new product. Warid became part of Jazz in 2016, so an old Warid SIM today sits on a Jazz tariff and Jazz bundles apply on top. The old activation route through 321 and the MP SMS to 5060 belongs to the legacy system and does not switch you to a current Jazz base plan. We keep the table here so you can see what you were paying historically.
What you get today instead
If you liked the Minute Package because one rate covered every network, look at Jazz weekly hybrid bundles. They do not work exactly like a per minute tariff, they give you a bucket of minutes, SMS and data for a fixed validity, which usually works out cheaper if you call daily. To see live options without guessing prices, check today’s Jazz call packages and pick by validity and other network minutes. Jazz on net minutes include calls to old Warid numbers because those numbers are on Jazz now.

If you still use an old Warid SIM
Treat it as a Jazz SIM for everything practical. Recharge with Jazz load, subscribe to Jazz bundles from Jazz World, and do not rely on old Warid FnF settings still being active. If you mainly call one or two numbers all day, compare a weekly bundle that includes other network minutes before you top up, because standard per minute charging adds up fast. Keep *117# handy after long calls to see what is left.

Can I still activate the Warid Minute Package? No. It was a legacy Warid tariff and new activations are handled through Jazz plans and Jazz bundles now.
Do I need to change my SIM after the Warid to Jazz merger? No. Your existing Warid SIM and number work as Jazz. Only visit a franchise if the SIM is damaged or you need a replacement for another reason.
Are old Warid numbers counted as Jazz on net? Yes. Calls to old Warid numbers use Jazz on net minutes, which is why current Jazz bundles work the same way on them.
