Onic Epic is Onic’s entry-level monthly plan at Rs. 1,290, currently discounted from Rs. 1,490. You get 30 GB of data, unlimited all-net calls and SMS with a 5,000-minute and 5,000-SMS fair-use cap, unused data rollover, and a free eSIM or physical SIM. There is no USSD code for Onic: you subscribe entirely inside the Onic app.
Epic is the cheapest way onto Onic’s monthly ladder, aimed at moderate users who want one simple recharge instead of juggling weekly bundles. One important check before you read on: PTA ordered a halt to new Onic sales in September 2026, and PTML has challenged that order in court. Our PTA Onic order explainer has the latest on whether new subscriptions are open right now.

How to subscribe to Onic Epic
Onic is a fully digital network, so there is no code to dial. Download the Onic app from the Play Store or App Store, pick the Epic plan, and choose between an eSIM and a physical SIM. You can keep your current number through in-app port-in or pick a preferred new number inside the app.
Place the order, then visit your nearest Onic SIM pickup point for biometric verification and collect the SIM. The plan activates once verification is done. Keep your CNIC handy for the biometric step, since the pickup point cannot release the SIM without it. You can also start the same flow from the official Onic monthly plans page on the web.
What “unlimited” calls really means
The unlimited all-net minutes come with a fair-use policy cap of 5,000 minutes, and SMS is capped at 5,000 per month. All-net means every Pakistani network: Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone and PTCL numbers all count the same. For normal use, 5,000 minutes is about 166 minutes a day, far more than most people talk. Only call-centre style usage would hit the cap.
Data rollover and the other perks
Rollover is Epic’s quiet standout. Unused data from your 30 GB carries into the next cycle instead of expiring, which suits people whose usage swings between heavy and light months. The free eSIM or physical SIM removes the usual Rs. 100 to 200 SIM cost, and in-app number selection lets you pick a memorable number without visiting a franchise.
The plan also bundles OnicAI, an assistant powered by GPT-5.1 and Gemini inside the app, and Onic promises no hidden charges on top of the Rs. 1,290. Compared with the next plan up, Iconic at Rs. 1,690 for 100 GB, Epic is the sensible pick unless you regularly burn more than 30 GB; heavy users should do that math before paying for data they will not use.
The PTA order: can you still buy Epic?
Be aware of the legal situation before you plan a switch. PTA’s order of 11 September 2026 told PTML to stop new Onic SIM and eSIM sales, activations, subscriptions and marketing, and gave existing users a three-month window to move to PTML. PTML challenged the order in court, and reports on 9 October 2026 said the challenge was underway.
What this means in practice: if you are already on Epic, your service keeps working for now. If you are thinking of joining, check our PTA Onic order update first, because new activations may be blocked until the court case is settled. Do not pay anyone promising to activate Onic outside the official app.
Is Onic Epic worth it?
On the numbers alone, Epic is strong value. Rs. 1,290 for 30 GB works out near Rs. 43 per GB, and the 5,000 all-net minutes plus rollover beat most traditional bundles at this price. App-only management is smooth if you are comfortable doing everything on your phone, and the free eSIM is genuinely convenient.
The catch is availability, not value: the PTA case decides whether new users can join at all. If the legal picture clears, compare Epic against the wider market in our best monthly internet packages roundup and the full Onic range in our Onic SIM packages hub before you commit.
