Muhammad NaeemZong balance validity depends on how much you recharge. A Rs. 20 to 99 mini load keeps your balance valid for 30 days, while Rs. 1000 or more keeps it valid for a full year. The table below covers every denomination for mini load and scratch cards.
Every recharge also extends your SIM validity, and these rules apply whether you recharge through a scratch card, mini load, e-topup or the My Zong App.

What happens when my balance validity expires?
Any unused balance lapses. Recharge again to get fresh validity from the date of the new recharge.
Does a new recharge extend the validity of my old balance?
Yes. Each recharge sets a new validity period based on the recharged amount, covering the balance in your account.
What if I do not use my SIM for months?
Per Zong’s official terms, a SIM left dormant for 180 days can be disconnected and the number reissued, so make at least one recharge or call every few months to keep it.
Is balance validity the same as SIM validity?
They move together in practice: every recharge extends both, but the SIM itself can survive short zero-balance periods as long as you stay within the dormancy limit.

Please stop this malafide practice, you cannot zeroed any one,s balance like that. It is just like if your bank account is dormant and you reactivate it, but your last balance is there, you may block outgoing calls but you cannot confiscate anyone’s balances illegally.
We were 6 member are going to left zong just because of expires rule, further I’ll try to connect with my relatives and social circa friends to move another serve, if they don’t change there balance expires policy.
You are not caring customers, we will choose better option. Your company is just because of customer, you should make optimistic policies.
Ufone gives 180 days validity on recharge of 100 rupees whereas zong gives 180 days on recharge of 500 to 999 rupees. Zong is not good.
