What happened to the Warid postpaid free FnF calls offer?
This was a Warid postpaid add on from before the merger with Jazz. It let a postpaid customer add up to three favourite numbers and call them within a monthly charge, subject to the limits in the table above. After Warid merged into Jazz in 2016, Warid postpaid plans and their add ons were closed to new sales and customers were moved to Jazz postpaid. This FnF add on is not sold today, and the old SMS method for adding numbers should be read as a historical record.
The page remains useful for two reasons. First, long term postpaid customers sometimes still have old bills or package names that mention FnF calls, and they want to know what the charge was for. Second, the idea behind the offer has not gone away. People still want cheaper calls to a small circle of family numbers. What changed is the way networks package it. Today that need is usually met inside a monthly postpaid plan or a prepaid bundle allowance, rather than through a separate FnF list.
