What happened to this IDD package
The details above are the original Warid IDD package for Saudi Arabia, UAE and Iran. It charged a small daily fee and billed calls to those three countries per second, which suited families with workers in the Gulf who called home often. It worked for Warid Glow and prepaid customers and used ON and OFF SMS to 3333.
That exact package is no longer on sale. Warid merged into Jazz in 2016 and Gulf calling offers moved to Jazz IDD bundles and Jazz standard rates. The daily Rs. 1 style rental and the 3333 codes are legacy Warid history now and will not start a current subscription. We keep the table so you can compare old and new, but do not try to activate it today. The Jazz World app is where you will see if a Saudi or UAE bundle is currently offered on your number.
What you get today instead
An old Warid SIM is a Jazz SIM, so for calls to Saudi Arabia, UAE or Iran you now choose between the standard Jazz IDD rate or a Jazz IDD bundle when one is available for that country. Bundles change more often than local bundles, so checking before you call saves money. Start with today’s Jazz call packages for how Jazz bundles are structured, then open Jazz World and look for IDD to see country specific options for your number.
Quick checks help before a long Gulf call. *111# shows balance, *117# shows bundle usage if you have an IDD bundle active, and 111 is Jazz support. Jazz local on net minutes do not include Saudi, UAE or Iran numbers. Only minutes marked as IDD or international in a bundle count for those calls.
If you still use an old Warid SIM
Nothing special is needed. Keep the same number, recharge with Jazz load and use Jazz World to buy bundles. If most of your calls go to one Gulf country, check the app every time before a long call rather than assuming last month bundle is still active. IDD bundles expire, and the standard rate after expiry is much higher per minute.
Questions people still ask
Can I still subscribe to the Warid Saudi UAE Iran package? No. The ON to 3333 offer was retired after the merger. Look for a current Jazz IDD bundle in Jazz World instead.
My family is in Saudi Arabia. What is the cheapest way now? Check Jazz World for a Saudi IDD bundle first. If no bundle is live, a short standard rate call or a data call over WiFi is usually cheaper than a long standard IDD call.
Do Jazz bundles work on my old Warid number? Yes. Your Warid number is a Jazz number now, so Jazz local and IDD bundles can be applied to it.
A quick way to decide today
For Saudi Arabia, UAE and Iran, timing matters because many families call on weekends when everyone is free. If your calls cluster on Friday and Saturday, buy the IDD bundle just before the weekend rather than at the start of the month so validity covers your busy days. Keep calls short for the first try and check *117# after to confirm IDD minutes were used. If standard balance was used instead, the bundle did not cover that number type, so try the landline if you have one.
